This American week was set up by “La Chevalerie du Fourquet des Brasseurs”, the direct descendant of the centuries-old Guild of Brewers.
The purpose of this mission is to highlight the Belgian brewing heritage and thus contribute to strengthening Belgian beer exports to the United States.
19 new members were inducted into the Belgian Ambassador’s Residence in Washington DC. This is the first-ever honorary knighthood ceremony of its type in the United States. This fantastic event celebrated true craftsmanship with over 30 Belgian brewers, American friends and beer connoisseurs.
Edwin Dedoncker (CEO) and Stijn Destatsbader (export manager) were able to make many contacts with importers, retailers and professionals from the beer world.
