Our award-winning beers at the Hainaut beer competition 2024!

For the fourth consecutive year, Hainaut Développement organized its highly anticipated beer competition.

This edition, held in the enchanting setting of Relais de la Haute Sambre, aimed to promote the agri-food expertise of the Hainaut Province.

With 19 breweries in competition and 37 Hainaut beers in the running, this competition is a true meeting place for beer enthusiasts and industry professionals.

We are proud to announce that three of our beers have been awarded this year, once again demonstrating the quality and excellence of our products.

The following beers have been distinguished:

In the Saison Category

🥇 St-Feuillien Saison

The Saison from Brasserie St-Feuillien, with its refreshing flavors and well-marked bitterness, won the gold medal in this category. St-Feuillien’Saison is what the Belgians call a beer of the terroir, unfiltered, perfect for summer, appreciated for its freshness and distinctive character. Its aromatic profile is nuanced, and its bitterness is well defined. The English-type hop aroma is highlighted by traditional dry hopping with Styrian Golding hop flowers. A classic, emblematic of traditional Belgian brewing production.

In the Innovation/IPA Category

🥈 St-Feuillien Belgian Coast IPA

The Belgian Coast IPA impressed the jury with its unique aromatic profile and perfect balance, winning the silver medal. The main aroma of this light IPA comes from hops in all its forms and is highlighted by traditional dry hopping. This distinction is a recognition of our ability to innovate while respecting tradition.

In the Brown Beers Category

🥈 St-Feuillien Brune

This abbey beer captivated the experts with its richness and complexity, earning the silver medal. With its palette of sensations revealing a beer with an intense taste and powerful aroma, this high fermentation brown beer embodies the expertise of our master brewers.

We are extremely honored by this recognition. These distinctions reflect our passion and commitment to producing beers of the highest quality.
