For several years now, the province of Hainaut has organised its traditional competition to celebrate the province’s best beers in various categories (in 2023, these were Pale Ale, Fruitée and Blanche).
In addition to the organising a high-quality competition at a provincial level, this year Hainaut also had the honour of hosting the Grand Interprovincial Final of this competition – universally recognised across the industries celebrated.
We are delighted to announce that our Grisette Blanche won two gold medals in these competitions!
Two well-deserved awards for our Grisette Blanche Bio
Award ceremony in the Sky Bar.
Deputée of the Belgian Parliament Fabienne Devilers visited our new brewery building to present our medals and taste the winning beer.
This gave us the opportunity to extend our warm thanks to the province of Hainaut, Hainaut Développement and Hainaut Terre de Goûts.
The expertise of the Brewery is once again rewarded.
Grisette Blanche is a Belgian Witbier-style beer, also known as a bière blanche. It is pale yellow in colour and slightly cloudy. Its white foam is creamy and long-lasting. On the nose, citrus and spice notes emerge, creating a refreshing experience. On the palate, this beer reveals delicate flavors of grains, citrus and coriander. Its light body and moderate fizziness make it very easy to drink – the perfect pairing for a light meal or when relaxing with friends. The secondary fermentation in the bottle means that it releases aromas of a richness that it is seldom found.
This high-quality beer is brewed using traditional methods. High-quality organic ingredients, such as organic malt, hops and yeast, contribute to the complexity of this beer’s aromas and flavors.
